GD-Direct Action Rucksack is a 30+ liter backpack, scalable and well suited for the role of the tactical 3-day backpack.
It has a main package with two zippered compartments – the first, larger, has an internal hydration cuff and a mesh pocket for accessories. Second, accessible from the back of the backpack is reinforced and will accommodate a large laptop computer.
The third pocket on the Direct Action Rucksack platform is a removable organizer pocket that is completely separable from the main packaging body. Usually, it is attached to the main package with 4 buckles and an adjustable bumper strap, but can also be used completely on its own (has its own handle), e.g. for medical equipment, etc. On the inside, this outer pocket has many internal slots and pockets for organizing the equipment, and when attached to the main Direct Action Rucksack package, it forms a beavertail flap in which you can store additional clothing or light equipment.
Externally there are 4 compartments – two side pockets that can be stretched depending on the water bottle. There is also a zippered and soft velour lined glasses compartment in the upper part of the pack and a flat zipped pocket underneath.
The Direct Action Rucksack straps of the backpack are wide and padded with stiffened, closed-cell foam, with side buckles for quick removal. The hip belt of the Direct Action Rucksack package is a fully functional PALS / MOLLE belt that can be detached from the main body and used independently with the flat suspenders supplied.
